Kim Habers (1979) presents an installation of large line drawings. The patterns are reminiscent of architecture and cities, but also of organisms and cellular structures. Sometimes it is necessary for Habers to add space to a drawing by cutting, tearing, cutting She literally takes the drawing into space. During his studies in architecture, Jeroen van Bergen (1979) was regularly confronted with the minimum dimensions that a building should have. The smallest liveable space, the toilet, became the starting point for his work As an artist, Van Bergen has developed a modular system from this. Models and drawings of flats, towers and even entire cities have emerged from it in the past ten years. 38CC invited these artists because of the associations with architecture and urban design that can be recognized in their work. The way in which they give shape to this, however, differs to such an extent that an exciting contrast is created. "
