"Jan van de Pavert is particularly interested in the art and architecture of the early avant-gardes of the twentieth century and the architecture of the 1960s. This modernism is reflected in his own work. He chose the title for the exhibition at 38CC. Van de Pavert: The new world. "There was a time when people were used to thinking in those terms. At the beginning of the twentieth century (1907-1924), art and architecture were a precursor to a better world.
